I've been lucky enough to work with some really fun ladies over the past year. Every now and then we all get together for dinner and drinks. We eat, drink, gossip, laugh, and only end the night because we have to catch the last train home. It has been such a long time since I've had a group of girl friends to go out with and I will miss them all dearly!
The other night we all met up for Thai food at the Mango Tree Cafe in Umeda. (There's a Mango Tree in Dubai as well, which I will be dragging B to someday soon...) I arrived a bit before the others and grabbed our table to make sure they didn't give away our reservation. Once the other girls arrived, the fun started!
We were eventually chased out of the Mango Tree so they could close, so we made our way to a little bar in Chayamachi called Drunk Bears. The Japanese girls were all very impressed by the all you can eat peanuts in the shell!
It was such a fun night, and we were so hesitant to say goodbye that we've planned to meet up for coffee one more time before I fly out. There was lots of talk about trips to Dubai, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
