Instagram Update

As I'm sure you've gathered - and because I said it on here the other day - I have left Japan and am back in Al Ain.  I've spent the past two weeks getting settled in and getting used to my new position as "house wife" (it's even written on my visa!).  Although I still have a UAE driver's license, I haven't been allowed to drive legally up until yesterday when I finally finalized my residence visa.  Oh, the joys of being an expat!  Now that I have that all important visa, the next "problem" is that we only have one car at the moment.  Since B needs to go to work everyday to earn all that money so that I can have the privilege of being a house wife, he gets dibs on the car.  Therefore, long story short, until we get another car, or I agree to drive him to and from work everyday, I am confined to being a stay-at-home-house wife.  I won't complain about that (yet…)!

Not having any means of transportation and not living in a walkable city means that I haven't been out and about doing stuff or taking pictures for Channeling Audrey.  In the meantime, here's a random selection of some of the photos on my iPhone…which incidentally is now just a camera since I can't use it as a phone here.

As usual, if you follow me on Instagram you may have already seen some of these.  And if you don't follow me, you should!
