While we were in Christchurch in 2009 we took a side trip to a little French colonial town called Akaroa, where Bryn's mom lives. The shuttle bus that drove us there offered spectacular views of the Canterbury region...seriously breathtaking! While at Bryn's mom's, I got to feed a little orphaned lamb named Billy. That might have been the highlight of my trip!
New Zealand is an absolutely beautiful country. You really must visit!
