A Warm Winter Day at Callaway Gardens

The rain finally stopped right after the new year.  The sun came out briefly, so we decided to spend the morning at Callaway Gardens.  The huge natural gardens are just across the Georgia state line.  Mom and Dad had given us a year-long pass for Christmas, so we packed up a simple picnic and were off!

Although it was still a bit muddy, it was a gorgeous day and so warm out! We took a stroll through the butterfly house (with major plant envy) before fixing sandwiches in the sun.

After lunch, we decided to take a new trail.  Callaway Gardens is so big that we can easily hike a new trail on each visit, so it doesn't get old.
I'm happy with a lot of these photos.  I need to keep work on my editing skills, but there's still time for that.
