Taking Stock: August

Welp, school starts on Tuesday so my life has gone from 0-60 in just a few days.  I'm glad to have something to keep me busy now that Bryn is back in the UAE (his job starts back up this week also and I think he feels the same was as I do.)  I'm going to try oh so hard to keep doing interesting things so that I can continue to post semi-regularly on here, so fingers crossed having a full time job won't get in the way!  Anyways, here's a little peek into what's going on with me lately.

Cooking things that don't require much heat - mom and I made fresh bruschetta the other night and it was delicious!
Drinking either iced coffee (I've been making my own cold brew) or iced green tea (not the sweet citrusy stuff they sell here...good stuff made from tea leaves from Japan!)
Reading The Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty and it's very good :)
Making flash cards and worksheets
Wanting Autumn clothes, even though it's not going to cool down anytime soon!
Playing Farms & Castles, a new app I downloaded yesterday...it's very addictive.
Missing Dubai Mall...it is a very good mall.  (And Bryn ;))
Wishing That lower Alabama had a decent mall.
Enjoying listening to an audiobook while I plan lessons and make materials.
Waiting For Bryn to get his Green Card.
Loving rainy weekends.  It was nice to have a lazy, rainy Sunday.
Pondering what to watch on Netflix next.  I'm slightly obsessed with Netflix since moving back to the US.
Watching Once Upon A Time
Needing to do exercise.  I let myself get lazy and it's so hard to get back into a routine!
Wearing my summer uniform, shorts and a t-shirt.
Eating grapes!
Craving a trip to a conbini (Japanese convenience store)...oh my goodness I would buy everything!
Admiring my painting skills.  I've repainted 3 rooms this summer and they all look great, even if I do say so myself!
Bookmarking Spanish websites

Have a fantastic week!
