Channeling Audrey

The other day when Bryn got home from work he asked if I wanted to go out for a coffee.  Since it's nice to get out of the house sometimes (and going out for coffee is pretty much the only thing there is to do in Al Ain), I threw on some appropriate clothes (i.e. not shorts) and we went to Al Ain Mall.




This time, instead of our usual Starbucks or Caribou coffees, we decided to go to The Coffee Beanery.  It's a proper sit-down coffee shop.  They bring you a menu, take your order and bring you your coffee and a little plate of cookies!


Bryn is becoming quite the coffee aficionado (I've created a coffee monster...) and he claims his current drink of choice is a macchiato - the real kind - espresso with a dollop of foam.



Me, I'm still an iced latte girl.  It came in a big fancy glass, which I think is actually a bit annoying to drink out of.  I'd much prefer a regular old glass.




It was nice to have an afternoon out of the house and try a new coffee shop that we don't go to so often.
Also, here are a couple of the things I am counting down to...just because!
