I'm thankful for a lot. Actually, when I really think about it, one of the main things I am thankful for right now is technology. It allows me to be in touch with the people I love instantly, even though they are on the other side of the globe. The picture today is one B took today at the coffee shop in Al Ain and sent to me on What's App...it made me smile :)
I'm also thankful for this package my parents mailed me...lots of goodies to remind me of home, and cold meds which I'm sure I will be really thankful for soon enough! (thank you!!!)
I'm thankful for the crazy English I see everywhere I turn. Some days I just need a good laugh, and when Japan isn't infuriating me, it is definitely making me laugh! I swear people must think I am crazy to see me taking pictures of random signs and laughing at seemingly nothing.
Check out that shop name...what were they thinking?!?
I'm also thankful for the amazing friends I have in Japan who let me call up and invite myself over for a weekend...now I cannot wait til Saturday :)
Sometimes it's good to stop and remember all of the things I am thankful for and how lucky I really am. It certainly helps put things into perspective. If you're reading this, wherever you are, I hope you have a lovely week!
