My splurge back in June was very worth it. It has rained non-stop for the past three days and thanks to my Hunter boots I was the only one to get to work and not complain of wet shoes and socks!! I'll be a little sad when I won't need them once I'm living in the desert again. We'll have to start taking trips to rainy places just so that I can wear them!!
