Here in Al Ain fall and winter are the gardening seasons. The temperatures are finally becoming slightly more bearable and it's pleasant to sit outside in the evenings and have a glass of wine or eat dinner (which we did the other night). Bryn has been working hard on his garden and it's really becoming a nice little oasis in the oasis city.
This is his goya (bitter melon?) plant which he has trained up a trellis on the balcony off our kitchen. It's growing like crazy and hopefully soon it will get some pretty yellow flowers, then maybe even some goya!
